This sweet little boat was restored with soda blasting. What exactly is Soda Blasting you may ask? Sodium bicarbonate or sodium bicarbonate is the chemical compound with the formula NaHCO3. Processed together becomes a very fine solid white powder that is used to clean rust or coating of any kind. Baking soda is the main ingredient and is an amazing product. The only difference is that we use it in large amounts and it’s a bit more grainy to the touch, yet tough enough to restore or remove stubborn stains.
